Along the way, you’ll travel through a landscape dotted with World Heritage-listed ruins and breathtaking Sufi mausoleums. These holy places honour some of Pakistan’s most illustrious mystics and poets while also offering a window into the region’s rich spiritual heritage.

The excursion’s visit to the Mohenjo-daro World Heritage Site, where you can step back in time to an ancient civilisation that once flourished in this area, is one of its high points. The amazing Mohenjo-daro artefacts provide a fascinating look into the past.

You will travel into the mesmerising deserts of Cholistan after leaving the ruins of Mohenjo-Daro, where the magnificent Derawar Fortress stands as a sentinel to history. This massive building reverberates with centuries’ worth of grandeur and tales.

The City of the Sufis, Multan, greets you with its lively streets and important historical sites. You will be immersed in a setting steeped in Sufi history and spirituality while here, learning about the ongoing influence of these famous mystics.

  1. Day 01 Arrival at Karachi

    Morning arrival in Karachi, transportation, and hotel check-in. Tour of the city’s attractions, including the National Museum of Pakistan, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the palaces of Mohatti, Quaid-e-Azam, and Freeroll Hall, the mosques of Tooba and Grand Jamie, and the Empress and Zainab markets.   2. Day 02 Drive to Hyderabad

    Early in the morning, I drove a rented car to Thatta (about 100 km away), a historic town with a distinctive civilization that has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There, I learned about the magnificent Mughal Empire’s architecture, in particular the Shah Jahan mosque, and I examined McLeigh, the largest cemetery in the entire world. We stop close to the Chakundi tombs (a sizable area with distinctively carved vaults from the 15th to the 18th centuries) on the road to Thatha. The archaeological digs at Banbhor, an Alexander the Great-founded port town where the Islamic conquest of these regions began at the beginning of the eighth century, are one more stop. After Thatti, we had an evening drive to Hyderabad, one of the biggest cities in the nation.

  3. Day 03 Drive to Larkana

    After leaving Hyderabad, we travel to Sehwan, the location of one of Alexander the Great’s fortifications, as well as the shrine of Shaikh Usman Marvandvi, also known as Lal Shabaz Qalandar, a famous Persian Sufi mystic who lived in the 12th century. Each year, thousands of people attend his raucous annual celebration. Later, we go to Manchar Lake, where descendants of the first inhabitants of the Indus Valley still fish using traditional methods.

  4. Day 04 Drive to Sukkur 

    We travel to Mohenjo-daro, the most spectacular and well-preserved ancient site on the Indian subcontinent, after leaving the lovely garden city of Larkana. It is an entire city from the Indus Valley Civilization, which was contemporaneous with Ancient Egypt and Sumeria, and it exhibits sophisticated town-planning methods. Later, we travel to Sukkur through Bukkur, an Indus island with a fort atop it and monuments to river gods all around. Many interesting things may be found in Sukkur proper, including Sateen Jo Astaan (the seven sisters’ tombs) and Masoom Shah Jo Minaro, both of which offer stunning views of the surrounding area and an intriguing past.

  5. Day 05 Drive to Bahawalpur

    We depart Sukkur over the magnificent irrigation projects that the British completed and the Lansdowne bridge. As we travel north and into the Punjab, we stop at the Bhong Mosque and Uch Sharif, which is home to some of the most moving remnants of Islamic antiquity, including the Tomb of Bibi Jewindi. We keep going until we reach the lovely city of Bahawalpur.

  7. Day 07 Drive to Multan from Bahawalpur

    Travel to Multan and transfer to the hotel.

  8. Day 08 Explore Multan

    Trip to the city for the entire day, including a look at the mosques, the Rukne Adam speech hall, the city gate, and the Old City markets. Multan at night.

  9. Day 09 Drive to Lahore

    Early departure from Lahore with a rental automobile. A stop at Harappa, the most significant city in the Indus Valley’s Harappa civilization, is made en route. a look at the dig sites and a modest neighborhood museum. continuing on to Lahore further. After arriving, check into a hotel and relax. Lahore at night.

  10. Day 10 Explore Lahore

    Overview of Lahore, Pakistan’s cultural center. Visiting the Minar-e-Pakistan Square, Lahore Fort, and Badshahi Mosque. The UNESCO sites Shalimar and Wagah Gardens (the showpiece descent ceremony on a single Indo-Pakistani border) are about to take up the second half of the day. Go back to Lahore and recuperate.

  11. Day 11 Explore  Lahore

    Visit the Wazir Khan complex, the Tombs of Jahangir, Nur Jahan, and Asif Khan, as well as the Lahore Museum. We can eat dinner at one of the many restaurants in the city’s downtown or at the renowned Food Street. We will spend the night in a hotel in Lahore.

  12. Day 12 Fly back to home
