  1. Day 01 Arrival in Islamabad

    Arrive at the airport in Islamabad and transfer to the hotel. On this day, the participants will take advantage of free time to unwind and recuperate from the trip. You can take a city tour in the late afternoon (see the Faisal Mosque, the Pakistan Monument, the Lok Virsa Museum, etc.).

  2. Day 02 Fly to Skardu, if cancelled drive KKH to Chilas

    Fly to Skardu from the airport in Islamabad (1-hour scenic flight). Day off for touring and shopping at Skardu Bazar as needed. We will go to Skardu Bazar, Organic Village, Kharpocho Fort, and Manthal Rock Buddha. If a flight is canceled due to inclement weather, head out of Islamabad along the Karakoram Highway, making brief stops at major scenic attractions

  3. Day 03 Skardu sightseeing day

    The participants will trek to Skardu’s Kharpocho fort, which is perched on a mountain, after breakfast. The Indus River and the town of Skardu can be seen beautifully from the Kharpocho fort. The participants can also choose to go on a tour of Sadpara Lake, which will be followed by free time for shopping in Skardu Bazaar.

  4. Day 04 Drive to Khaplu

    Drive to Khaplu through the little towns of the Ghanche district. On the way, we’ll stop briefly at the confluence of the Shayok and Indus rivers, at Thorgo Pari, and see Yugo. Enjoy a traditional lunch at Yugo and a cultural stroll around the town’s streets to see village life and interact with the locals. We travel to Khaplu in the late afternoon, check into the hotel, and then have some free time to explore the organic garden and museum in the fort.

  5. Day 05 Drive to Kanday and Trek to Mingulo Broq

    Drive from Khaplu to Kanday village after breakfast, then hike 3500 meters to Mingulo Broq. leisure time to explore the area’s stunning natural surroundings. There is free time in the afternoon for outdoor exploration along this track, which passes through lovely, verdant meadows and the breathtaking landscape of rocky walls.

  6. Day 06 Trek to Amin Braq BC

    Trek to Amin Brakk’s (4500 m) base camp. Get up early to witness the sunrise, investigate a nearby glacier stream, practice your rock climbing techniques on nearby ledges, or take a walk to observe some of the numerous Karakoram birds and floral species.
