You begin your ascent to Makrong Chhish Peak from the charming Hispar Valley, which is located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. The Hispar Valley approach offers a comparably more accessible and shorter path than the alternate route through the Biafo Glacier from Baltoro, guaranteeing a memorable adventure. The optimum time to ascend is during Pakistan’s summer, which normally lasts from May through August.
