The struggle persisted, until in July 2018, Hansjorg Auer successfully attempted the first solo ascent of Lupghar Sar, cementing its reputation as a top climbing destination.

  c. Personal equipment transportation service: Sherpas transport up to 10 kg (22 lbs) of personal items between camps and up and down the mountain.
