Scaling the Karakoram Heights: The Karun Kuh Expedition

Join the Karun Kuh Expedition as they set off on an incredible journey via the magnificent Karakoram Mountain range. Karun Kuh, a towering peak with a magnificent elevation of 6,977 metres (about 22,890 feet) and a prominence of 2,240 metres (7,350 feet), calls you to climb it as part of this amazing tour. Karun Kuh, located in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan, is bordered to the east and west by the alluring Shimshal Valley and the alluring Boibar. It is surrounded by the magnificent Hispar Muztagh sub-range, which is home to notable peaks like Momhil Sar and Distaghil. Some of the most famous peaks in the world, such as the famed K2 and Gasherbrum, may be found in the Karakoram Mountain Range, a massive mountain range that spans Pakistan and China. The Karakoram Range, which stretches over a massive 500 kilometres in length and 200 kilometres in width and connects the Hindu Kush and Himalaya Mountains, creates an astounding tapestry of natural treasures.

The Karun Kuh Expedition offers a journey over the enormous Karakoram Mountains that will never be forgotten. Along the way, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas of the towering, grey-backed peaks and some of the highest and largest glaciers on Earth. Your journey starts in Askole, the Skardu district town closest to these enormous peaks.

A different route across the Hispar and Shimshal Valley is also available for the daring traveller, providing a distinctive viewpoint of this spectacular location.

This trip provides an opportunity to experience the spectacular grandeur and varied landscapes of the Karakoram, not merely to scale a difficult summit. Every step of the journey unveils new aspects of this spectacular landscape, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Join us on the Karun Kuh Expedition and take part in an experience that will make you awestruck by the Karakoram’s eternal beauty and grandeur. This adventure delivers an experience that will make a lasting impression on your heart and soul, regardless of whether you are an experienced climber or an avid trekker.
