All about the Hunza Peak Expedition.

The Hunza Peak Expedition is a thrilling trek over the famed Karakoram Mountain range to conquer a peak that soars to a magnificent height of 6,270 metres (20,750 ft). This snow-covered mountain, surrounded by neighbouring giants including Lady Finger, Ultar, and Shispare, sits as a sentinel over the landscape in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan province’s gorgeous Hunza Valley. The first expedition, led by Swedish and English forces, earned the distinction of reaching the summit in 1991.

The Batura Muztagh, a Karakoram Mountain sub-range known for housing some of the world’s most majestic summits, including the fabled K2 and Gasherbrum, is home to Hunza Peak. The Pakistani summer, which lasts from May through August, is the ideal period for climbing to the summit. The adventure departs from Gilgit-Baltistan’s alluring Hunza area, which provides access to this spectacular summit.

The area is home to some of the world’s tallest and most beautiful summits, with peaks soaring beyond 5,000 metres, some exceeding 6,000 metres, and others even reaching a towering 7,000 metres. The region is also blessed with some of Asia’s most beautiful valleys, including Nagar, Haramosh, and the stunning Hunza Valley itself.

The Hunza Peak Expedition invites climbers and adventurers to go on an amazing journey through the Karakoram Mountains’ interior. This excursion guarantees a difficult but rewarding experience in one of the most breathtaking environments on earth.
