All about the Gama Sokha Lumbu Expedition.

The Gama Sokha Lumbu Expedition invites travellers to scale the magnificent Gama Sokha Lumbu Peak during an exciting journey via the stunning Masherbrum Mountains of the Karakoram Range. This hill in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan area rises to an astonishing height of 6,282 metres and is close to the recognisable Trango Towers and the renowned Baltoro Glacier.

Some of the most amazing peaks in the world, such as the fabled K2 and Gasherbrum, may be found in the Karakoram Mountain Range, an impressive expanse of mountains that spans over Pakistan and China. This mountain range, which is 500 kilometres long and 200 km wide, has a few points of contact with the nearby Hindu Kush and Himalaya Mountains. The best time to start this thrilling ascent is during Pakistan’s summer, which lasts from May to August and guarantees good weather. The Braldo River Valley serves as the starting point of the adventure and is a doorway to this alluring region of towering peaks and glaciers.

The Gama Sokha Lumbu Peak stands out among the Gama Sokha Lumbu Expedition, surrounded by nearby summits that are higher than 5,000 metres, with some rising to 6,000 metres and a few reaching the astounding heights of 7,000 metres. The area is renowned for the extraordinary beauty of its landscapes and valleys, which include Nagar, Haramosh, and Hunza, in addition to its high hills. The Hunza River, one of the swift-flowing rivers that beautify these valleys, adds to the expedition’s charm.

Mountaineers and explorers are invited to join the Gama Sokha Lumbu Expedition for a difficult but rewarding journey across the heart of the Karakoram Mountains. For those who dare to go on it, this journey promises to offer the chance to discover one of the most fascinating and breathtaking regions of the natural world.
